The 2024 US election is well and truly underway. It will be up to the seven swing states to determine the fate of Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump.
The swing states, or battleground states, are those that can shift between Democratic and Republican support depending on the election.
These states draw significant attention from candidates, who focus their campaigns there to sway voters and secure crucial electoral votes.
The results are expected to come down to each candidate’s performance in seven swing states: Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arizona, Michigan, Wisconsin, Nevada and North Carolina.
The seven battleground states will determine who clinches 270 electoral votes needed to win the White House. They include:
Pennsylvania (19 Electoral Votes)
Michigan (15 Electoral Votes)
Wisconsin (10 Electoral Votes)
Arizona (11 Electoral Votes)
Georgia (16 Electoral Votes)
North Carolina (16 Electoral Votes)
Nevada (6 Electoral Votes)
