THE dog-loving oddball from Japan has received his first belly rub since spending more than £12,500 to become a real life Lassie.
Toko-san, as he’s known online, forked out two million yen for the fake but realistic fur suit.

The Japanese lad raised eyebrows across the world when he revealed what he’d spent his money on as he confessed his dog obsession.
And having finally acquired the border collie costume, Toko has now been spotted in public and received his first belly rub.
Once inside the costume, he climbed aboard a trolley and was dragged around by another person.
Sitting upright and looking very proud of himself, Toko was pictured in a number of different locations across Tokyo.
This included being pictured next to a statue of a dog and humorously pretending to give an interview after a microphone was placed in front of him.
Having posed for multiple selfies and grabbed the attention of fascinated onlookers, Toko then took things one step further.
Toko opted to show off just how mobile he could be in the suit by demonstrating his ability to roll over and lie on his back.
And to top things off and really help him feel as though he was a genuine canine, the dog enthusiast got to receive his first belly rub.
It is unclear what Toko’s future plans are or where he may end up next but you can follow his journey on his YouTube channel.
Dog-loving Toko previously said of his videos: “I became a rough collie because I wanted to be an animal.
“This channel will bring you videos of such an unusual rough collie.”
Toko’s suit took 40 days to make after ordering it from a specialist movie and TV costume-maker.
But he states that it has helped him “fulfil my dream of becoming an animal.”
Speaking earlier this year, he said: “I made it a collie because it looks real when I put it on.
“I thought that a big animal close to my size would be good – considering that it would be a realistic model, so I decided to make it a dog.
“There are restrictions, but you can move in it. However, if you move too much, it will not look like a dog.”
