A BRITISH tourist has drowned after jumping into a river during a family holiday in Turkey.
The victim was on holiday with his family in Manavgat, in Antalya when the tragedy struck.

The holidaymaker was seen jumping the Manavgat River from a pier near a riverside restaurant before disappearing into the water.
Emergency services with divers then entering the water due to a lack of visibility.
The man’s body was later pulled out of the river, near where he jumped from.
His body was sent to the Antalya Forensic Medicine Institute for autopsy.
An investigation into the man’s death is ongoing.
Antalya Province, in southwestern Turkey, is the centre of the country’s tourism industry and accounts for about 30 per cent of foreign tourists visiting the country.
Earlier this month another Brit was found floating dead in the sea off a popular Ibizan holiday cove.
The 33-year-old is believed to have drowned although a police investigation will now be carried out to determine the cause of death.
Last month another Brit holidaymaker drowned at a hotel pool in Algarve in Portugal.
The 27-year-old tourist was reportedly found in the water in “cardiac arrest.”
While a 62-year-old Brit drowned in front of his horrified partner in Majorca.
Lifeguards and emergency responders spent nearly an hour trying to revive him on the sand but to no avail.
