The Rivers State House of Assembly, led by Victor Oko-Jumbo, has screened and confirmed four commissioner nominees as members of the Rivers State Executive Council.
This followed a request from Governor Siminalayi Fubara, asking the Assembly to screen and ratify the nominees, on the floor of the House les by Oko-Jumbo.
The confirmed nominees are Israel Lebura Ngbuelu, Evans Bapakaye Bipi, Otamiri Ngubo, and Benebo Anabraba.
The confirmation comes amid the sudden outbreak of violence at several local government council secretariats on Monday morning.
