CMA: Beyoncé’s dad, Mathew Knowles blames racism for daughter’s snub

Mathew Knowles, father of pop star, Beyoncé, has reacted to his daughter earning zero nominations at the 2024 Country Music Awards.

DAILY POST reports that the nominations for the 2024 Country Music Awards were recently announced, with Beyoncé receiving zero nods despite having the number one country song and album this year.

Reacting, her dad, Mathew Knowles accused the organisers of the award as being racist.

He claimed that the organisers don’t vote based on ability and achievements but race.

“There’s more white people in America and unfortunately they don’t vote based on ability and achievements, it’s still sometimes a white and black thing,” Knowles told TMZ.

Beyoncé’s album ‘Cowboy Carter’ is both the most acclaimed and best-selling new country album of 2024.
