British band, Coldplay’s long-running ‘Music of the Spheres Tour’ has become the first rock music tour to gross over $1 billion.

The tour is also the first music tour to officially report a worldwide gross of over $1 billion, according to Billboard.

DAILY POST reports that American singer, Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras’ tour became the first music tour to surpass $1 billion in revenue last year.

However, Coldplay’s ‘Music of the Spheres Tour’ is the first to officially report a worldwide gross of over $1 billion.
