PEP GUARDIOLA has banned his players from drinking alcohol during their Super Cup celebrations.

But there is little time to celebrate due to their congested fixture list, with Newcastle visiting the Etihad on Saturday.
Guardiola blasted the Premier League for not giving his squad an extra day or two off to recover, and stated his team would be off the booze as a result.
He said sarcastically: “Of course tomorrow we’ll be even happier than today. Recovered, not one drop of alcohol today.
“Recover as much as possible because again from Greece, thank you so much to the Premier League to let us play on Saturday not on Sunday or Monday. Thank you so much.”
That means the likes of Jack Grealish will have to be on their best behaviour.
The England winger led the Treble-winning celebrations in June as the squad enjoyed a four-day bender across Europe.
The likes of Grealish, Kyle Walker and John Stones all flew out to Ibiza for a ten-hour bash.
Back in Manchester Grealish led celebrations at the victory parade, holding the Champions League trophy high above crowds of supporters before going topless with Haaland.

The striker then poured champagne over his drunk team-mate’s head and Ederson nearly took a pal’s head off with a confetti cannon.
But Grealish confirmed there would not be a repeat of those scenes when asked about City’s Super Cup celebrations.
He smiled saying: “Nah put a ban on that.
“We’ll go home tonight, eat some nice food and chill. Straight recovery and then back to the Premier League.”
