Dominic Solanke will miss Tottenham’s Premier League clash against Everton but Pedro Porro is available, Ange Postecoglou has confirmed.
Solanke, who joined Spurs for £65million from Bournemouth this summer, made his debut in the 1-1 draw with Leicester City on Monday but suffered an ankle injury at the King Power Stadium.
While the injury is not thought to be serious, the striker will not be involved when Everton come to north London on Saturday afternoon with his manager providing no guarantees he will be available for his side’s following game against Newcastle United.
‘Dom picked up a knock in the last game. He got through the game but it flared up the day after and he’ll miss the game tomorrow,’ Postecoglou said.
‘It’s an ankle injury, he copped it really early on, someone went across his ankle.
‘It just depends on his recovery [when he returns], obviously we’ve got the international break, but it’s not serious.’
Porro meanwhile scored Tottenham’s first goal of the season in last Monday’s game with a fine header but also picked up a knock, forced off in the second-half.

The defender was back in training this week and is expected to start against Sean Dyche’s side.
Rodrigo Bentancur will not be available however due to concussion protocols after he was stretchered off at Leicester.
‘Irrespective of concussion protocols, any head injury we’ve always got to be more conservative from my perspective,’ Postecoglou said.
‘He’s bounced back really well, he’s done all the tests and feels good but we’ll take our time with Rodrigo to make sure he’s absolutely 100 per cent before we put him out there again.
‘It’s unfortunate for Rodrigo as he had a good game on Monday night. Biss is available but we’ve got other options there. Pedro is fine, he trained this week and we have no other concerns.’
