Weekend travel in London is off to a sticky start after mayhem hit Kings Cross station this morning.
For anyone on summer holiday hoping for a smooth journey, it is looking anything but after southbound lines towards Kings Cross were shut.
It comes after damage to the overhead wires, meaning trains running between London, Cambridge and Peterborough could be cancelled, delayed by up to two hours or revised.
A whopping six trains companies are affected by the chaos – Grand Central, Great Northern, Hull Trains, LNER, Lumo and Thameslink.
