Make your coffee extra strong today as London has been thrown into chaos with nearly a third of the TfL network seeing delays or suspensions.

Underground routes such as the District line are experiencing severe delays, while the Metropolitan Tube line isn’t even running through central.

Above ground, the DLR and for a time the London Overground were also hit by delays. There’s good service on the rest of the network, TfL officials say.

It’s a bingo card of reasons for the chaos, with everything from trespassers and signal failures to faulty trains plaguing the network.

And it seems even lines that are said to be running smoothly are feeling the effects, with one app that monitors Tube travel times saying both the Central and Piccadilly lines are seeing minor delays.
