The rush hour commute has been hit by disruption after severe delays across the London Underground network.

The District and Hammersmith & City lines have been partially suspended today, causing major delays for passengers heading into work and summer holidays.

TfL’s latest status update says the Tube delays are caused by a broken-down train in east London.

In Euston, passengers should brace themselves for reduced service between the station and Manchester Piccadilly after damage to the overhead wires, including cancelled Avanti West Coast trains.
