We will heal APGA – National Chairman Njoku

From George Onyejiuwa, Owerri

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance ( APGA), Chief Edozie Njoku, has called on all aggrieved members of the party to join him and the National Working Committee in healing the party for the betterment of all.

He also said that nobody is an enemy of the Anambra state Governor, Charles Chukwuma Soludo, and urged members of the party to disregard the stories making the rounds in Anambra state.

Njoku who stated this Friday when he and Members of the NWC of the party paid a courtesy call on the Traditional Ruler of Ibeku community in Aboh Mbaise council, Eze Enyinna Onyekachi Ukpabia, said we are going to reconcile with all aggrieved members.

“We need to bring APGA back to our people and we are calling on everybody to come together. APGA is not an Anambra thing, it is a national party. Our interest is to run the party responsibly and to reposition it because it has slid. If we love the party we have to come together. Every crisis in the party ended with the Supreme Court judgement, so we are calling on everybody on the other side to join us to move the party forward.”

He added, ” We are not fighting with anybody contrary to the insinuation in some quarters, His Excellency Charles Chukwuma Soludo is not an enemy of any of us and nobody is stopping him from being re-elected as the Anambra state Governor. Our major task is to reposition the party to be able to contest elections across the country and not just to participate, and that is why we are calling on everybody to come together and let bygone to be bygone “.

Meanwhile, he disclosed that the NWC after its meeting held in Owerri decided to appoint the founder of the party, Chief Chekwas Okorie as the new Chairman of the Party’s Board of Trustees.
