It turns out not everyone loves sausage rolls as a huge pop legend turned down working with LadBaby on one of their Christmas singles.
The musical duo, made up of couple Mark and Roxanne Hoyle, are set to release a tell-all autobiography about their lives and career on November 7, including some of the music icons they almost worked with.
LadBaby are famed for their chart-topping Christmas singles, including We Built This City, I Love Sausage Rolls, Don’t Stop Me Eatin’, Sausage Rolls for Everyone ft. Ed Sheeran and Elton John, and Food Aid.
The duo reveal in their forthcoming book that they almost collaborated with grime icon Stormzy for a festive track, but schedules shifting at the last minute meant it never came to be.
Other musicians that LadBaby almost worked with include Lewis Capaldi, James Blunt, Boy George, Sting, Sir Rod Stewart, and U2 star Bono.
All I Want For Christmas hitmaker and bonafide music diva Mariah Carey, however, outright turned down Roxanne and Mark on the offer to work on a Yuletide single.

Mark and Roxanne are also set to open up on being the last people to record music at Rocket Studios, owned by the iconic Elton John, and Roxanne walking away for a six-figure brand deal with a clothing company.
They will also speak about the dangers their rise to fame has posed, with the couple – who share children Phoenix and Kobe – receiving physical and verbal death threats.
The synopsis further explains: ‘A working-class family who started off living on £20 a week and ultimately became record-breaking musicians, the world-famous “sausage rol2’ family, household celebrities and bestselling children’s authors, Mark and Roxanne have overcome dyslexia, music industry rejection, death threats, betrayal and more – and now they’re ready to tell their story.
‘From tales of childhood and Mark and Rox’s first meeting, to their reaction when Mark’s first video went viral, and the moment they learned they had a Christmas number one single; to becoming parents, discussing sausage rolls with Ed Sheeran and Elton John, and releasing their first children’s book – LadBaby share all the major moments in their lives to date, including the roller coaster crazy highs and lows as a family.’
Speaking about the book, Mark and Roxanne said it was a ‘dream come true’ to tell their story.

Since starting their social media channels, LadBaby have amassed more than 13 million followers and hold the record for the most chart-topping Christmas number one singles.
They have released bestselling children’s books and clothing lines, and also host the hit podcast Live, Laugh, Love.
