A manhunt is underway after an inmate escaped from a prison in west London.
Graham Gomm, 63, gave guards the slip after being transferred to Hammersmith Hospital from HMP Wormwood Scrubs on Wednesday night.
Scotland Yard said he had been on remand for burglary offences.
He was last seen wearing a grey T-shirt and grey tracksuit.
Detectives are concerned for Gomm’s welfare as he was undergoing medical care before he escaped.
There is nothing to suggest he is a threat to the public.
But anyone who sees Gomm is asked not to approach him but to call 999.
Officers are carrying out searches, working closely with partners, conducting CCTV enquiries and have visited a number of addresses linked to Gomm.
They were first alerted to his escape at around 1.18am on Thursday, July 18.
