Transfer: Arsenal reach agreement to sign Setford

Arsenal have reached an agreement to sign goalkeeper Tommy Setford from Ajax.

According to The Athletic, the deal for the England U-20 international is less than 1 million.

Setford will put pen to paper on a four-year deal with the Gunners.

Mikel Arteta has been in the market for young goalkeepers this summer.

This is because Arsenal have released three young goalkeepers including Arthur Okonkwo.

The club is also in the market for a senior goalkeeper to provide back-up to David Raya and Aaron Ramsdale. They have had a bid rejected for Wolves understudy Dan Bentley.
