Juventus are prepared to offer Federico Chiesa to Manchester United as part of their efforts to sign Jadon Sancho.
Sancho’s time at United is set to come to an end this summer following last year’s dramatic falling out with Erik ten Hag.
The winger has not played for the club since last August, exiled by the Dutchman before spending the second-half of last season on loan back at Borussia Dortmund.
United’s decision to extend ten Hag’s contract ended any slim hopes of the Londoner being integrated back into the side.
Needing to bolster their modest transfer budget through player sales, Sancho is among those United hope to fetch a decent fee for in the coming weeks.
Juventus are eager to bring the former Dortmund star to Turin with the Bianconeri reportedly Sancho’s favoured destination. United are thought to be looking for a fee of around £40million, a figure that would represent a sizable loss having paid £72m to bring him to Manchester three years ago.
Juve have their own dilemma with one of their wingers in Chiesa. The Italy international has been made available for transfer and while he has 18 months left on his contract, his future under new manager Thiago Motta now looks uncertain.

While Juventus are prepared to offer him a new contract, it would be on a lower salary than his current deal.
Interest from Roma in Chiesa has faded with Juventus considering other options. Gazzetta dello Sport report they are ready to offer Chiesa to United in a swap deal involving Sancho, who remains a top target for the Serie A giants.
Sancho favours a move to Juve, with ten Hag still considering the proposal, the report adds.
Chiesa has been a Juventus player since 2020, joining the club permanently in 2022 after two seasons on loan from Fiorentina.
The 26-year-old scored 10 times and provided three assists for his club last season.
While ten Hag is considering the possibility of Chiesa joining, the club do appear to be set to strengthen their attack elsewhere with Joshua Zirkzee, who has agreed to join United from Bologna.
