Emily Eavis is reportedly very keen on snagging the iconic noughties girl group, Girls Aloud for Glastonbury 2025.
Glastonbury 2024 was a spectacular event which drew in hundreds of thousands of festivalgoers from across the UK.
The festival may have only taken place next week but already plans are formulating and predictions are being placed for 2025.
Among the artists predicted to be part of the lineup, it has been revealed that the co-organiser of the event is keen on the Biology singing pop group to perform.
‘Emily is really keen to book Girls Aloud for next year’s line-up,’ a source told The Mirror.
‘This year was never a possibility, because the festival clashed with their two final dates at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool.
‘But next year is a different story. There is no doubt that the girls would be a great act for the festival, and would really pull in the crowds.

The source then added: ‘Emily is even more enthusiastic about booking them after seeing how fans reacted to the Sugababes and Avril Lavigne this year.
‘Girls Aloud can tap into that same female pop nostalgia, while also having a massively loyal fanbase of their own. Everyone has their fingers crossed that a deal can be struck for 2025.’
The festival came under fire this year for overcrowding at some of the popular acts. Fans struggled to watch the Sugababes and Avril Lavigne perform because of the huge crowds that formed.
The high attendance kicked off complaints from fans that more importance should be placed on these nostalgic acts and they should have been given time slots on the Pyramid Stage, the largest venue at the festival.

Girls Aloud was rumoured to be a surprise act at Glastonbury 2024, but they had clashes with their own UK reunion tour.
The girl band kicked off their hotly-anticipated reunion tour in May, during which they honour late bandmate Sarah Harding, who sadly died from breast cancer in 2021.
There were many iconic moments during the show as Cheryl addressed a viral clip of her saying she wouldn’t be singing Love Machine at 30, and the band experienced everything from wardrobe malfunctions to forgotten song lyrics.
The tour was a roaring success and concluded in June after 30 dates.
