Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has admitted that the summer transfer market is “tricky”.
In an interview with ESPN, Arteta made it clear he was looking to improve every department of the squad.
The Gunners are believed to be in talks for Bologna defender Riccardo Calafiori.
They were also interested in Benjamin Sesko but the Slovenia striker opted to sign a new contract with RB Leipzig.
“[How active do we expect to be?] I think both ways. There are things that we have to improve, that’s for sure and we are going to try to do. But the market is tricky.
“We have been very aggressive, we are very determined and we have a clear idea obviously of what we want to do.
“It will come down to finding the right agreements at the right time,” Arteta said.
