Rangers have revealed the reason they are investing in young players, DAILY POST reports.
The Flying Antelopes stated that the move is to encourage young players to work harder in their career.
Chairman of the club, Ezeaku Amobi disclosed this at the club’s secretariat in Enugu.
Amobi said that more opportunities will be given to young players to join the club.
DAILY POST recalled that Rangers recently signed teenage sensation Chomaobi Igwilo and Nwobodo Somtochukwu.
“Just as it is in the club’s philosophy, this is another great signing for us and it goes a long way to encourage young talents that abound the nook and crannies of the state to keep working hard for opportunities to join Rangers and showcase their God-given talents,” Ezeaku stated in Enugu.
“The scouting team has followed Somtochukwu and coaches over time and has shown he has what it takes to make it at the big stage.”
