Adamawa Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board reconstituted

The Adamawa State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board has been reconstituted.

The new 14-member board has Geoffrey Garba as the executive secretary and chief executive.

A press statement issued from the Government House in Yola on Tuesday said Governor Ahmadu Fintiri had approved the appointments to the board to take immediate effect.

The statement, signed by Fintiri’s Chief Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou, said Rt Rev Theophilus Shadrach is to serve as Chairman of the board.

The members, according to the government, include Rev. Moses Luckson, Rev. Fr. Anselm Kachalla, Rev. Bukar Lala, Pastor Biyasa Abraham, Rev. Joel Lamba, and Rev. Stephen Stephen

Three other members are to represent the senatorial districts of the state, namely Rev. Pius Usman Ayuba (Southern Zone), Pastor Alfred Enoch Sunama (Central Zone), and Rev. Father Sixtus Wuylshiri (Northern Zone).

To complete the membership a representative, each from the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Finance, and the Christian Association of Nigeria were added.
