Rivers United have praised their players and officials for the dedication and tireless efforts they exhibited during the just concluded 2023-24 Nigeria Premier Football League season.
The general manager of the club, Okey Kpalukwu expressed gratitude to the team during a ceremony at the club House in Port Harcourt on Monday.
Kpalukwu commended the players for their achievement in the CAF confederation Cup.
Meanwhile Rivers United also announced a week long break.
The players are expected to return back on Wednesday July 3rd in preparation for the new NPFL season.
DAILY POST reports that Rivers United made it to the semi-final of the CAF Confederation Cup and finished in eight position in the NPFL.
