Kwara United target better outing next season

Kwara United have expressed its readiness to strive hard to compete for a continental ticket next season.

The Harmony Boys last played on the continent in 2022.

The club’s general manager, Bashir Badawiy, said this in a statement after their final game of the 2023–24 Nigeria Premier Football League campaign.

Badawiy said the Harmony Boys will work hard to make it a reality.

“We want to first appreciate His Excellency, Governor AbdulRahman who is our number one fan. We thank him for his support all the time and we want to promise that Kwara United will make everyone happy next season,” the statement reads.

“We equally want to thank all the stakeholders, fans and all Kwarans, home and abroad, for their support and trust in the team from the beginning of the season to the end.

“Thank you, everyone, for your love. By the grace of Almighty Allah, next season will be a better one for Kwara United.”

Kwara United finished 13th on the NPFL table with 51 points.
