A leading renewable energy company, LiteUp Naija Projects Limited has partnered with the Association of Community Pharmacies of Nigeria to provide sustainable solar energy solutions to pharmacies across Nigeria to ensure uninterrupted service delivery and enhanced operational efficiency.
Under the collaboration, the energy company will deploy advanced solar energy systems tailored to meet the operational needs of pharmacies to provide an uninterrupted power supply for storing medications and operating essential equipment.
Speaking during the launch of the project, the Chief Executive Officer of LiteUp Naija Projects Limited, Dolapo Quadri said the initiative seeks to revolutionise Nigeria’s pharmaceutical sector by providing sustainable solar energy solutions to community pharmacies nationwide.
He added that this move is poised to enhance the efficiency and reliability of pharmacy services, particularly in areas prone to electricity challenges.
Quadri explained that through this initiative, LiteUp Naija will deploy state-of-the-art solar energy systems to community pharmacies, enabling them to maintain optimal operating conditions despite power outages.
He stated, “To facilitate widespread adoption, LiteUp Naija offers a flexible payment plan tailored to the financial capabilities of pharmacy owners. This commitment to making renewable energy accessible and affordable for all aligns with LiteUp Naija’s mission to illuminate lives and foster community connections.
“Reliable power supply is critical for the health sector, and we aim to enhance the productivity and efficiency of community pharmacies, ensuring they can serve their communities better.”
The National Chairman of ACPN, Dr Adewale Oladigbolu, expressed optimism about the initiative’s impact on pharmacy operations.
He stressed that the approach aims to facilitate the widespread adoption of renewable energy solutions, thereby promoting sustainable development and resilience within Nigeria’s healthcare infrastructure.
“Consistent power supply is vital for medication storage and patient care. This partnership will elevate standards across the sector.
