I fell over a stone and found the Virgin Mary inside it – I had only dreamt about her days earlier

AN accountant made a heavenly discovery after spotting what he says looks like the Virgin Mary in a stone he tripped on.

Ahmed El-Husseiny, 41, claims the find came days after he dreamt about the religious figure.

He was walking with his brother on the outskirts of his hometown of Cairo, Egypt, when he fell over a stone.

Ahmed said he was shocked when he looked down only to discover the patterns within the stone bore a striking resemblance to none other than the Virgin Mary.

He added: “When I found the stone, I felt there was a bright white light around it – upon closer inspection, I thought I saw the Virgin Mary.

“You can see Christ in her womb and there is a palm tree and a trunk in the stone too.

“I felt very happy and optimistic that day, but it was strange as we took a different route to go home than we usually would.

Ahmed said his family, who are Muslim, were all “very happy” at his discovery.

He claims that prior to finding the seemingly sacred stone he “dreamt of the Virgin Mary in a crowded place”.

Ahmed added: “My brother was with me in a crowded place, everyone was happy, and I had a feeling in the dream that the people were waiting for Mary, the mother of Christ.

“I felt someone tapping me on the shoulder and turned around to see who it was, and it was her – the Virgin Mary, she was smiling and put something in my hand.

“It was a stone and she told me ‘It’s yours.’

“There was a light radiating from her and angels in the clouds. The moon had a beautiful glow.”

He claims the stone is a “miracle from God”.

Ahmed added: “I don’t believe it’s man-made and unlike any other in the whole world.

“Maybe the stone came to me because I am a good person – or God has other plans.”
