Armed Forces Remembrance Day: Osun Gov, Adeleke assures of state’s support

Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has assured serving personnel of the Nigerian Armed Forces of the state’s readiness to offers support in its efforts towards the protection of the country.

Governor Adeleke made this known during the 2025 Armed Forces Celebrations and Remembrance Day in Osogbo on Wednesday.

The Governor, who called for the support of the armed forces, also tasked Nigerians to remember the sacrifices of fallen soldiers.

He said, “Today is a day to remember the supreme prices paid by fallen heroes for the defence of the nation.

“Their memories and sacrifices will not be in vain.

“We will support the armed forces towards the protection of Nigeria. We also call for the supplier of the Nigerian armed forces.”

Governor Adeleke also paid tribute to the veterans who have served the country and appreciated their contributions to the peace Nigeria is enjoying.

The Osun governor offered condolences to family of fallen soldiers and assured that the living ones will be remembered as heroes.
