The Chairman of Abia Warriors Football Club, John Sam Obuh has sympathized with former Chairman of Enyimba Football Club of Aba, Felix Anyansi Agwu following the armed robbery attack at his home in Abuja.
Anyasi Agwu, who is the First Vice President of the Nigeria Football Federation, was this week, attacked in his his Gwarinpa Estate residence by armed robbers who inflicted injury on him before carting away valuable items.
Reacting to the ugly development, the Chairman of Abia Warriors, Obuh, sympathized with Agwu and wished him a speedy recovery, pointing out that the armed robbery attack was a traumatic experience for the seasoned football administrator.
Obuh asked the Nigeria Police Force to apprehend those responsible for the attack.
“My thoughts and prayers are with my friend and brother, Chief Felix Anyansi Agwu who was attacked at his home in Abuja by men of the underworld.
“It was indeed a sad one. I can imagine the emotional trauma he and his family have gone through. I therefore wish him a quick recovery”, Obuh said.
