Nigerian rapper Emeka Akumefule, popularly known as Blaqbonez, has opened up about his upbringing.
In a chat with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, Blaqbonez disclosed that his dad abandoned him at birth.
He explained that as a result, he wasn’t raised by his dad.
“My Dad kind of dipped when I was born, so he wasn’t there. I wasn’t raised by my dad,” he shared.
During the interview, Blaqbonez also declared himself “the best rapper in Africa.”
He argued that no African rapper has a better discography than him.
Last year, award-winning Ghanaian-American singer Amaarae declared Blaqbonez is the best rapper in Nigeria.
