Police officers and firefighters rushed to the Ozoir-la-Ferrière train station at around 8am this morning after they were called about the axe rampage.

Cops quickly launched a hunt for the people responsible for the attack after four victims were taken to hospital.

Reda Belhaj, spokesperson for the Île-de-France police union UN1TE, told BFMTV that the victims are “extremely young individuals”.

They believe multiple attackers are still on the run.

Train operators RER E took to X to announce the attack earlier today.

They said: “An incident on board the TUVA train currently at the platform at Ozoir station is forcing us to keep the train at the platform.

“Waiting for police intervention.”

Trains were cancelled going through Ozoir-la-Ferrière for some time with lines now said to be reopened despite cops being stationed around the area.

The reasons for the rampage are still unknown.
