A healthcare and wellness solution firm, The Ever Hale Living Company, has unveiled a new product designed for diabetes management.
The Chief Executive Officer of the firm, Johnson Adumike, said the product which would be launched in November was introduced to promote wellness and tackle non-communicable diseases using natural remedies.
Adumike who spoke at a briefing in Lagos recently, said the natural products would serve as substitutes for foreign drugs amid the rising cost of drugs in the country.
Recounting his experience after he was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, the CEO said he had a positive outcome and regained his health after resorting to the use of natural remedies and Body Reset products.
Motivated by his recovery, he founded The Ever Hale Living Company to provide others battling with diabetes and other non-communicable diseases access to effective and affordable natural solutions.
“Our mission is to create a platform for individuals suffering from various ailments to find viable natural remedies,” he stated.
He highlighted the company’s commitment to making healthcare accessible, offering free consultations to ensure people received guidance without financial barriers.
“We want to make it easy for people to get the help they need,” he noted.
Reflecting on Nigeria’s healthcare challenges, he stated that many politicians seek medical treatment abroad, illustrating systemic inadequacies.
He stressed the need to change the narrative by offering affordable and effective health solutions locally.
Adumike pointed out the alarming statistics surrounding diabetes, which claims over two million lives annually.
He called for collaboration between conventional and alternative medicine, stating, “We are not against pharmaceutical companies; our goal is to work together to save lives.”
He further urged attendees of the event to cultivate a healthy lifestyle, warning that “food can be both good and harmful.”
Also speaking, the Chief Executive Officer of Body Reset International Limited, Oluwafemi Oduniyi encouraged individuals to take charge of their health by utilising a range of innovative health products.
“You are the only one who can truly care for your body,” he emphasised, urging everyone to seize the opportunity to enhance their well-being with effective supplements.
Oduniyi highlighted the vital role of iodine in water, noting its benefits for mineralization, wound healing, and digestion. Iodine’s versatility extends to its use as an eye drop, promoting clearer vision.
He also explained the significance of collagen, particularly for women over 30 years of age, as it supports skin elasticity and combats aging. Additionally, a range of cold-pressed multivitamins designed to address nutrient depletion in modern diets was introduced.
Reflecting on a personal loss, Oduniyi shared, “When I came across this product, I wished my dad was still alive. If he had access to these products, he might still be here today.” He encouraged individuals to think of their loved ones, stressing that health is wealth.
He highlighted the benefits of preventive measures, stating, “Prevention is better than cure.”
He urged people to drink at least two liters of good water daily for optimal health.
The Deputy Director of Investigation and Enforcement at the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, Afolabi Aderemi clarified that the products discussed were not yet launched, with an official launch planned for November.
“NAFDAC will always collaborate with anybody that is going to make access to good quality health products for the public”, Aderemi added.
He addressed concerns about counterfeit herbal products, acknowledging their effectiveness but noting the challenges of adulteration. “When the product is registered, NAFDAC checks to ensure it does not cause harm to the user,” he stated, urging the public to report suspicious items.
Aderemi further highlighted the importance of making quality health products accessible, stating, “We are here for them because we care for the people. As NAFDAC prepares to support the launch, the focus remains on ensuring public health and safety.”
