Fearless Protest: Nigerian youths receive Sowore at Lagos Airport [VIDEO]

Ahead of the planned nationwide protests in October, Nigerian youths on Sunday welcomed one of the key organizers, Omoyele Sowore back to Nigeria.

DAILY POST reports that the protest tagged “fearless” is being organized by Sowore, a former presidential candidate and a rights advocacy organization, Take It Back Movement to further draw the attention of Nigerian leaders to the prevailing economic hardship bedevilling citizens.

Arriving at the Murtala Muhammad International Airport, Lagos State on Sunday, the activist was reportedly arrested by operatives of the Department of State Services, DSS.

His arrest, according to reports, followed the roles in the EndBadGovernance protests held nationwide from August 1 to 10.

Shortly after he was released, Sowore was received by a large number of youths at the airport.
