FMC Bida Reiterates Commitment To Quality Healthcare

Medical director of the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Bida, Dr Abubakar Usman, has said the centre’s well-known standard would not be compromised.

Usman who gave the  assurance while addressing newsmen in Bida yesterday said the centre would continue to impact positively on the health of people of the state.

He said due to the excellence of the centre, patients were coming from other parts of the country to access health services there.

The medical director assured of his continuous determination to prioritise the welfare of workers for optimal productivity.

He said  all staff of the centre were captured under the health insurance scheme.

“I came across a post where it stated that a junior staff of FMC Bida accessed healthcare in a private hospital in town and died during surgery. Even though she is late now, I want to clear the air that she was not a full-fledged staff of FMC Bida,” he stated.

He solicited the support of workers to enable him succeed in providing affordable and quality healthcare services.
