The Association of Nigerian University Professional Administrators (ANUPA) has announced its 2024 Training Workshop for junior university professional administrators.
This workshop presents a valuable opportunity for junior university administrators to enhance their professional skills and contribute to advancing higher education in Nigeria.
The theme is “Understanding the Foundation and Repositioning Our Universities in the New Normal.“ It aims to equip participants with essential skills and knowledge to navigate the evolving landscape of
university administration.
According to a statement from the association, the workshop is scheduled to take place from Wednesday, September 4th, to Saturday, September 7th, at the Grand Ibro Hotel Annex, Abuja.
Registration fees are set at N50,000.00 for physical participation and N20,000.00 for virtual participation, and this will cover various topics, including: – Synergizing digital transformation and global
collaborations for 21st-century university advancements – Servicing committees/panels.
The strategic roles of the secretary to the committee/panel A beam into university cultural values and ethical behavioural patterns of university professional administrators – X-raying the architecture of
briefs, decision excerpts, circulars, memos, letters, minuting, minutes, and report writing – New trends and changing strategies in university administration: The place of the professional administrator
– Insight into security challenges and prevention of cyber crimes.
The expected participants include Admin. Officer 2 / Executive Cadre Equivalent, Admin Officer 1 / Executive Cadre Equivalent, and Assistant Registrar / Executive Cadre Equivalent.
