An ‘unknown man’ picked a woman up in a car in central London and raped her, police said.
Detectives have today released CCTV footage in a bid to solve the case.
The woman was walking near Tottenham Court Road underground station between 9pm and 11.30pm December 19 last year when the man pulled up, police said.
After she was driven around central London, the car stopped in Long Acre WC2 and the woman is reported to have been raped.
She reported the incident to police and an investigation was launched by detectives in Westminster.
