NNPP Unveils Logo, Confident Of Victory In Katsina

New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in Katsina State has expressed confidence in winning all 34 chairmanship seats in the forthcoming local government election.

The party’s chairman, Alhaji Armaya’u Abdulkadir, made this known during the unveiling of the party’s new logo in Katsina yesterday.

According to him, the party is fully prepared to participate in the election, despite not contesting in all 34 local government areas due to the high cost of forms,  expressing optimism about the party’s chances, citing the current government’s inability to address the state’s challenges.

He said the NNPP had conducted primary elections and was fielding grassroots politicians who are capable of delivering on the party’s promises, emphasising that if votes count, the party is confident of winning in all areas they are contesting.

National vice chairman of NNPP Northwest, Alhaji Aliyu Shehu-Garo, was present at the event to unveil the new logo and replace two party officials in the state.

He said the new logo symbolises education for all, which is a key concern of the party’s leader, Rabiu Kwankwaso. Shehu-Garo commended the commitment of NNPP members in promoting the party in the state and urged them to work towards moving the state and country forward, rather than focusing on monetary gains.
