Mohamed Salah appeared to confirm that this season will be his last at Liverpool after his side’s thumping win against Manchester United.

Salah scored one and assisted two as Liverpool cruised to a 3-0 win against United at Old Trafford.

However, speaking at full-time, the Egyptian, who has one year left on his Anfield deal, appeared to confirm that this will be his last season with the club.

‘As you know it’s my last year in the club, I don’t want to think about it, I just want to enjoy it,’ Salah told Sky Sports.

‘I feel I am free to play football and we’ll see what can happen next year.’

The 32-year-old continued: ‘To be fair I was coming to the game [thinking] it could be the last time [playing at Old Trafford].

‘Nobody in the club has talked to me yet about contracts, so okay I’ll play my last season and we’ll see at the end of the season. It’s not up to me.’
