A teenage girl has died after a car crash on a rural road in Wiltshire.
A Renault Clio crashed just before 10pm on Thursday on an unnamed road between Bushton and Hilmarton.
The Clio was the only car involved in the crash.
The 16-year-old passenger, who was sat in one of the back seats, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her family has been informed.
Police say the 18-year-old driver of the Clio has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He’s been taken into custody.
The road is still closed around 12 hours later while police investigate the scene.
Wiltshire Police are asking any witnesses or people with dash cam footage to get in touch.
