The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for rain across parts of the UK as Storm Lilian lingers.
Heavy downpours are expected to batter the south east with Kent facing a complete washout today, as well as areas of London.
An alert is in place until 1pm and forecasters have warned that up to 70mm of rain could fall in just seven hours at the start of the bank holiday weekend.
Other areas affected include Hampshire and East Sussex – and the grim weather front stretches right across to Ipswich in Suffolk.
People have been told to expect flooding and delays on roads, while bus and train services are also likely to be affected.
It comes after widespread disruption caused by Lilian yesterday, which saw at least two stages at Leeds Festival shut for the entire weekend after strong winds battered the site in West Yorkshire.
