The UK weather is a smorgasbord of everything at the moment- and what could be more quintessentially British summer season than this.
But the summer is not over yet despite a spell of cooler air and even heavy rain in parts of the UK yesterday.
However, London weather is not returning to the temperatures we saw on the hottest day of the year.
The latest Met Office forecast predicts a largely dry and fine weather in most parts of the UK today heading into the weekend, including in the south and London.

This is good news for fans queueing up for the second Taylor Swift Eras tour concert at Wembley.

However, to get to the decent temperatures and dry weather, a spell of rain moved over the southern parts of England this morning, making it a grey start to the day.
The rest of the day is set to be sunny in large parts of England and Wales.

Northern Ireland and Scotland will see patchy cloud and some showers coupled with blustery wind and temperatures well below 20C.
Temperatures in London, South East and the Midlands will climb to up to 24C – a significant shift from the hottest day of the year just days ago on Monday.
The blustery wind which blew cooler air across the UK yesterday is still here and making the temperatures feel more fresh – a welcome shift if you were suffering in the mini heatwave.
Swifties going to the Wembley Stadium for the megastar’s Eras tour concert tonight do not need to worry about bringing anything rainproof as the Met Office forecasts highs of 24C when the doors open.
By the end of the show, temperatures should still hover at around 20C before midnight.
Londoners should brace themselves for a chance of another tropical night as temperatures will only drop slightly below 20C in the early hours ofthe Saturday.
