Former First Lady Melania Trump’s biggest sources of income, at six figures apiece, have been revealed in her husband Donald Trump’s latest financial disclosure.
Melania’s top income source was roughly $330,000 from a licensing agreement on collectible NFT sales, according to a 250-page disclosure on her husband released by the Federal Election Commission on Thursday.
She launched an NFT website after her time as first lady, selling digital renderings for $150 each. The licensing agreement is with Designers Manager.
Coming in second for Melania was $237,500 she earned from speaking at an LGBTQ Republican group’s event in April. It was Melania’s first major political event for her husband’s 2024 campaign. She hosted the Log Cabin Republicans’ $10,000-per-ticket fundraiser from the comfort of her Mar-a-Lago home in Florida.
That speaking engagement raised $5million, which was split between the Trump campaign and the GOP. It has remained one of Melania’s few public political engagements, even with the election just a few months away.
Melania has opened MKT World LLC to receive funds from her NFTs and speaking engagements.
The disclosure also showed that she owns real estate in New York valued between $500,001 and $1million, and that she takes in $15,001 to $50,000 in rent payments from properties she owns in her home country of Slovenia.
While continuing to stay largely out of the public eye, Melania has forged forward with money-making ventures.
She is set to publish a memoir titled Melania in the fall with ‘personal stories and family photos she has never before shared with the public’, her office stated .
