Fearless soldier smashes armoured car through checkpoint before coming under fire

New footage has shown the moment Ukrainian troops made an extraordinary bid to cross the international border with Russia at full speed alongside a Kozak 2 armoured vehicle. 

They sought to ram the Kolotilovka checkpoint with Russia’s Belgorod region in an effort to expand their territory grab in the neighbouring Kursk region.

Reports say the vehicle hit dragon’s teeth barricades and was then attacked by a Russian FPV drone. 

Russian artillerymen also unleashed a Krasnopol precision-guided shell at the vehicle, resulting in Putin’s troops labelling it a ‘suicide mission’.

Yet some soldiers miraculously escaped from the crashed armoured vehicle which is seen in a giant fireball explosion.

One Telegram account wrote: ‘Barely alive after such a blow, the paratroopers still managed to unload at the entrance to the checkpoint.’

Other Russian reports claimed the survivors were soon ‘eliminated’, according to other Russian reports, with some reportedly ‘burning with the vehicle’.

At least seven Ukrainian troops were seen on the video.

Ukraine reportedly made several attempts to break through the border into the Belgorod region. 

If the Kolotilovka massacre is confirmed, it shows Ukraine suffering significant  losses from its attempt to grab Russian territory in a new military strategy.

The incident coincides with reports that Russia had repelled Ukrainian efforts to break the border at Kolotilovka.

Forces have managed to advance up to 20 miles inside Russia in what has become the deepest incursion since the start of the full-scale war.

Some 11,000 people in Belgorod, which lies next to Kursk, have been moved due to the ‘enemy action’.

Belgorod governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said people from Krasnaya Yaruga district were being evacuated.

The region remains under a missile alert, and people are being urged to shelter in their basements.
