Ex-President Donald Trump made shocking confessions on X (formerly Twitter), including comparing his 2024 opponent Kamala Harris to his wife Melania Trump and suggesting he may flee the US.
Trump in a two-hour live conversation with X owner Elon Musk attacked Vice President and Democratic nominee Harris as a ‘terrible’ leader but then complimented her looks in her Time magazine cover.
‘She looked very much like our great first lady, Melania,’ said Trump on X’s Spaces on Monday night.
‘She didn’t look like Camilla but of course, she’s a beautiful woman, so we’ll leave it at that.’

While mispronouncing Harris’ first name, Trump said the black-and-white illustration of her cast her as ‘the most beautiful actress ever to live’.
Trump added that the cover calling it ‘Her Moment’ gives Harris – who declined to speak to the magazine and has not had a media interview since President Joe Biden dropped out – a ‘free ride’.
The former president also said Venezuela is ’emptying out’ its prisons and sendingmurderers, criminals, drug dealers and rapists to the US, but then hinted he would go to the South American country.

‘If something happens with this election, which would be a horror show, we’ll meet the next time in Venezuela, because it’ll be a far safer place to meet than our country,’ Trump said.
‘OK, so we’ll go. You and I will go, and we’ll have a meeting and dinner in Venezuela.’
Trump said that Venezuela’s crime rate is down 72% and that the nation has ‘gotten rid of about 70% of their really bad people’.

The ex-president in his wide-ranging interview confused some listeners with what sounded like a lisp and his pronunciation of the letter S. The live stream suffered a 40-minute delay that Musk attributed to a cyberattack.
In other strange moments during the interview, Trump called Kim Jong Un the ‘absolute boss’ of North Korea and claimed he ‘really likes me’. He also seemed to admire the dictator as the ‘greatest cutter’ for firing people upset about working conditions.
The Harris campaign ripped the interview by calling Trump and Musk ‘self-obsessed rich guys who will sell out the middle class and who cannot run a livestream in the year 2024’.
