The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s chief of staff has suddenly jumped ship just three months into his job.
Josh Kettler has quit his job with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in California with no explanation given.
A source in California told the Daily Mail: ‘Josh Kettler is no longer working for them.’
Mr Kettler was set to accompany Harry and Meghan on a tour of Colombia which kicks off this week.
He had already joined Harry on his visit to London to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.
They were seen entering St Paul’s Cathedral for the anniversary service, which was attended by Harry’s uncle, Earl Spencer, but no members of the Royal Family.
Mr Kettler was also a key figure on the couple’s three-day trip to Nigeria, and was by Harry’s side when he met senior figures of the country.
Archewell has been contacted for comment.
He is one of at least 18 people who have left the Sussex’s employment since they married in 2018.
One departure includes Bennett Levine, who was manager of Archewell productions.

He quit in January and confirmed he was moving to Cinetic Media, a US film financing and distribution company.
Fara Taylor, who was in charge of Archewell’s marketing team, moved last year as the couple looked to ‘streamline’.
She oversaw the release of the couple’s Netflix series and Harry’s memoir Spare.
Oscar-nominated producer Ben Browning was head of internal content, but left around the same time in January 2023.
Rebecca Sananes, who produced their Spotify podcast Archetypes, quit in December 2022 as head of audio at the company.

The same month Mandana Dayani stepped down after a year and a half as president of Archewell.
Yoya Holness, who was PR chief and dubbed ‘Meghan’s shadow’ also left the job in May 2022.
One former staff member said: ‘These aren’t employees they had just found off the streets.
‘Many of them are people who had previously excelled working for demanding bosses in high-performance companies and environments.’
