The Monday morning commute is off to a sticky start on the London Underground after severe disruption on the Bakerloo line.

Londoners should brace themselves for a sweltering commute across the TfL network as today is likely to be the hottest day of the year – so don’t forget your water bottle.

Commuters on the Tube should make their coffee extra strong after part of the Bakerloo line is suspended.

There is no service between Elephant and Castle and Piccadilly Circus due to a points failure, while the rest of the line has severe delays.
