A couple are begging their council to move them to another home as an eight-month infestation of aggressive rats shows no sign of relenting.
Andy Roberts, 56, and Rosie Glazzard, 53, say the rodents first began invading their maisonette in Kempsey, Worcershire, in December.
The pests began by gnawing at their floorboards and sofa before chewing through the wires to their freezer in the search for food.
Teeth and claw marks were found on metal food tins in the kitchen, as well as piles of droppings under the bath.

Andy says a rat bit his toe while he slept, while Rosie says she has suffered three bites including on her feet and bottom.
After they reported the problem to Malvern Hills District Council in June, officials notified owners Platform Housing who sent in pest controllers.
Andy says professionals laid down poison traps but the rodents somehow survived – and he even found one swimming in his toilet.
Andy said: ‘We have asked the council to move us. We should not be living here with rats.

‘I can’t stay here tonight. We need somewhere else to go. When Rosie was asleep there was a rat on the back of the settee. It was there for a few seconds, looking at me.
‘I could not believe my eyes when I saw one in the toilet bowl.
‘I felt a bit sick. It was a baby rat. Our neighbour came out and killed it. I didn’t have the nerve to do it.
‘We just don’t seem to be getting nothing done quickly enough to get rid of the rats.

‘How much longer have we got to stay in here with this rat problem?’
Andy a commercial cleaner, says he has been told not to come into work until the problem is dealt with.
Marion Duffy, chief operations officer at Platform Housing Group said: ‘We are sorry to hear of our customers’ concerns; we arranged for pest control to visit their home and we are awaiting their report so that we can deal with the issue.
‘We will continue to keep our customers updated.’
