The Queen of Denmark was left shaken after an e-scooter drove through a crowd and knocked her to the ground.
Queen Mary was on a royal visit to Nuuk, Greenland, when the scooter being ridden by an elderly man knocked into her.
Her youngest children Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine were just metres away from her when the dark grey scooter struck her.
She briefly lost her balance and fell while crying out.
But she managed to regain her composure and stood back while her security guards stop the scooter from travelling any further.
The driver insisted he ‘did not known what happened’, saying he had meant to extend his arm hoping Queen Mary would take it.

But he hit the accelerator instead, he claimed.
The palace confirmed Mary was not hurt and is continuing her royal visit.
A witness in the crowd said: ‘I could see how much it hurt her, her eyes watered immediately. It must hurt to be hit at that speed.
‘The police immediately barricaded and removed her from the situation.’
Both police and security said they were satisfied by the scooter driver’s explanation.
King Frederik was also greeting fans nearby when the scooter struck.
