The men’s football tournament at the Paris 2024 Olympics gets underway on 24 July with a lot of young talent but a few recognisable faces involved.

The 16 countries that qualified for the tournament have 18-man squads, with 15 of the players having to be born on 1 January 2001 or after.

That means they are effectively Under-23 squads, although three overage players can be named.

Not all the nations involved chose to take full advantage of that opportunity, with Japan actually naming no players over 23 years old, although they were the only ones to do so.

Team GB are not represented in the football tournament in Paris, but here’s when Britain’s biggest stars of the Games will be in action.

Here are all the squads for the upcoming men’s football tournament in Paris, with their overage players picked out.
