Manchester United star Luke Shaw has reacted to UEFA’s decision to appoint Felix Zwayer as the center referee for England’s semifinal clash against The Netherlands.
He said he is not worried about the decision, adding that the Three Lions are gearing up for the game.
DAILY POST recalls that Felix, a German official, was banned for six months back in 2006 after it was found that he had accepted a €300 bribe while assisting Robert Hoyzer.
Shaw said he has decided not to pay too much attention to it.
When asked if he was thinking about it, the England defender said, according to Mirror,
“Not at all. We have to respect UEFA on whoever they decide to pick as ref.
“That won’t change anything for us, we just focus on the game at hand and not focus on the refs we’re given.”
