The Center for Faith-Based Policy (CFBP) has announced its inaugural ‘Christian Values and Public Policy’ tagged; ‘Writing Legislative Bills and Motions’ in new certificate course.
The intensive program will equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to translate Christian principles into actionable legislative proposals, fostering positive change in Nigerian society which is inspired by Proverbs 14:34 – ‘Righteousness exalts a nation…’
The CFBP noted that it believed in the power of faith to shape a thriving Nigeria that reflects God’s values, adding that through this comprehensive training program, participants will gain the tools needed to integrate Christian principles into legislative processes, empowering them to become effective advocates for a better future.
The course, led by a distinguished faculty, comprises of seasoned legislators, policy analysts and faith leaders, will be held over two weekends (July 5-7 and 12-14, 2024) in a hybrid format (virtual and physical).
“The Policy Righters Writing Course offers a comprehensive curriculum. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of key Christian concepts relevant to public policy, and learn how to integrate Biblical principles into legislative proposals, and master essential advocacy and lobbying strategies.
