Glastonbury 2024 is proving to be far more expensive than you could have imagined.
Tickets, which went on sale last September, cost £20 more than the year before, coming up to £355.
And for the 200,000 people descending on Worthy Farm in Somerset, things are not getting any cheaper.

It was revealed on Thursday, the second day of the festival, that food and drinks were pretty pricey – with meals on par with London prices.
Sandwiches were going for £15, toasties for £9.50, and breakfast options reached £12-15.
Meanwhile, pints of beer were branded ‘criminal’ at £6.50, but that may be reconsidered after the price of water was revealed.
Although water stations that are dotted across the site are free, if you’ve forgotten your refillable water bottle in your tent, you’ll need to cough up quite a bit to buy some from one of the vendors.

There are more than 100 food and drink sites across Glastonbury, but one has caught all the attention after selling 330ml cans of water for £2.50.
And as if that wasn’t bad enough, a ‘2024 Glastonbury Water Bottle’ is a whopping £7.50.
@Frazer_Dury fumed on X: ‘£2.50 for a can of water is criminal.’
‘Glad they prioritised people’s Health with £7.50 bottles of water. Criminal,’ @jedimonkey1973 added.
@FakeGlennMiller commented: ‘Some of those prices are insane. 43 quid for a bottle of wine! You can buy a quality vintage for that money.’
‘No cost of living crisis there….’ @R_de_Gerber said.
‘And I thought I’d splashed out stocking up on M&S cocktail cans – turns out to be the budget option!!’ @surreynurse1 added.
It’s not just refreshments that are proving to be more expensive than planned, but merchandise reached £75 for a hoodie.
