Former Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has warned England manager Gareth Southgate that Jude Bellingham is frustrated amid the ongoing Euro 2024.
This is coming ahead of England’s Euro 2024 last-16 clash with Slovakia on Sunday.
“Jude starts the first game well but I’m sure he’d tell you himself he has not had the best games in the last two games,” Rooney said on the BBC’s Football Daily podcast.
“For me, he looked very frustrated, I have been there exactly the position he’s in, even the game yesterday, you saw him throwing his arms up in the air.”
Meanwhile, Southgate has said he will speak privately with Bellingham to get the best out of the Real Madrid star ahead of England’s clash with Slovakia.
Bellingham has scored just one goal in the Euro 2024 so far.
